A friend nominated me for the National Geographic Landscapes photo challenge which required posting one landscape photo every day for seven days. These are the seven photos that I posted to that challenge over the past week. You can also find them (and many others!) on the Your Shot site.
A face you never see
Is all of a sudden always there
Plans to walk, hike, run, climb
Train for it.
Street life for a nickel or a dime
stop and stand in the middle
seek out wagons without locomotives
A journey already travelled
The glory of shrubbery.
It’s the question that we are excited to answer
And yet we dread it
Where do you feel at home?
Loaded with assumptions of what should be
Everywhere! A global citizen.
Nowhere! She lacks roots.
Home is where you come back to after being on the road.
But home is also (any) place where you can look out the window and open your eyes to the world.
Frankfurt. Monday morning.
